*LEARNERS MUST HOLD A VALID FAW OR EFAW CERTIFICATE TO ATTEND THIS COURSE* This course provides essential guidance on controlling life threatening bleeding includinfg the safe and effective use of tourniquets and haemostat dressings. it highlights the risks involved and equips participants with the knowledge and confidence to respond effectively in critical situations. Course includes: .Equipment .Primary survey .Life threatening bleeding .Haemostatic dressings .Tourniquets .Top-to-Toe Survey .Enviromental issues .Handover to Emergency Services Learners will be issued a non regulated certificate of achievement following the demonstration of competence.
