Course Eligibility

Before booking a course, please ensure you have read the full course content to confirm that the course will meet your training needs and that you can meet pre-requisites, if & where stated.
 

Booking & Payment

Payments can be made via BACS Transfer to our business bank account, all details will be issued on an invoice. For payment queries please contact us via email info@dgfirstaid.co.uk

Following a course booking enquiry, we will confirm with you the availability of your chosen date/dates by telephone & email. your place on the course and loss of your holding deposit.

Public courses require to be paid in full on the day of the course prior to issue of any certification (unless otherwise agreed)

Business invoices must be paid within 28 days on receipt of invoice, certificates will remain with the trainers until payment is made and thereafter issued once payment received.

 

Course Attendance and Certification

All learners registered for a course with us will receive joining instructions containing course title, timings, location & any other relevant information via email to the address provided on the booking form no later than 7 days before the course date.

If the joining instructions are not received, it is the responsibility of the individual who completed the course registration/booking form to contact us and arrange for them to be reissued.

Failure to attend the course without warning or consultation with the trainer will result in the full course fee payable to us. We understand things happen so If you must cancel or rearrange for any reason, please contact us at the earliest opportunity at info@dgfirdtaid.co.uk or by telephone.

D&G First aid will retain copies of all certificates issued to learners in a secure system password protected, should you lose or damage your original please contact us to discuss options for replacement.

 
Offers & Discounts

Offers & discounts for any of our courses are advised at the time of booking and at the discretion of the trainer.

Social Media

As a business we have a social media platform where we share course details, business news and images taking from courses we run. Permission will always be sought during the health & safety introduction at the beginning of any course to use photography , if this is an issue it should be discussed with us prior to the course commencing.

Refunds
  • 14 Days or less to course date – No refund 

  • 15-28 Days to course date – 50% amount due to us – 50% Refunded

  • Over 28 days to course date – Full refund 

If D&G First Aid & Education have to cancel the course for unforeseen circumstances then if available alternative dates will be offered or full refunds given.

 

Complaints & Appeals Policy

If there is a problem with any of the services you have received by D&G First Aid Training & Education you must report it in the first instance to the course instructor. If it remains unresolved then the issue should be reported immediately to our company directors at info@dgfirdtaid.co.uk and everything can be done to resolve the problem. If the problem cannot be resolved to your satisfaction you must notify us in writing giving full details within 28 days of the end of provision of the services.

Delegate Requirements

Physical Fitness: delegates on any of our courses must be physically capable of performing practical tasks, such as kneeling for CPR , lifting and if required lying on the ground for scenarios , we will always endeavour to make the course as accessible for everyone so please let us know at time of booking if you require additional support or adaptions.

Language Skills: A sufficient level of spoken and written English is required to understand the training and complete assessments on our courses, should you require additional support please advise us of this at time of booking.
